Do the right thing and don’t drive under the influence this Christmas! But prepare yourself for germs.

Do the right thing and don’t drive under the influence this Christmas! But prepare yourself for germs.

Do the right thing and don’t drive take a bus, use a drive home service, take the subway, take a cab, but don’t drive under the influence this Christmas! But prepare yourself for germs. The holiday season is upon us which means great parties, overindulgence, and perhaps a little too much of the hard stuff. There are many wonderful services such as Driverseat that can get you and in their case your car safely home too.

When you are choosing your service think about those that have gone before you! We are not trying to target any one mode of transportation but rather help you prepare for the best germ-free ride home. Subways literally have thousands of people a day depositing their germs on seats, handles, poles etc. – I would make sure you have a plenty of disinfectant wipes and wipe everything you may touch. Busses while possibly somewhat less traffic falls into the same category as subways. Cabs may have fewer germs than the aforementioned 2 modes but there can be inherent problems there – don’t put things on the floor like your bags, purses, or briefcases. You also need to know that there have been cases of people’s luggage getting hit with bed bugs from previous travellers – put your luggage in a garbage bag.

My favourite and likely the best service would be a company such as Driverseat as they drive you home in your own car. Both you and your car arrive home safely and only must deal with your own germs.

Stay safe and germ-free this Christmas.
