Did you know…
There are two types of wipes? They are Detergent Wipes and Disinfecting Wipes.
Detergent Wipes are wipes that typically cannot make kill claims. They are primarily used as surface CLEANERS. This means that they are best used to remove surface stains, dirt and grime, but should not be used as a form of disinfection.
Disinfecting wipes typically have kill claims. These wipes are saturated in some type of chemical solution, quaternary ammonium compounds and types of alcohol to name two. Alcohol dissolves certain bacteria and viruses, while quaternary ammonium compounds attack protein and lipid structures which then can thwart any threat posed. In order to have kill claims, the product must be approved by Health Canada.
Roxton Wipes are disposable wipes pre-saturated with a quaternary disinfectant cleaner.
They are registered with Health Canada – DIN 02455234. They are lemon-scented and are alcohol and bleach-free. Roxton commercial Disinfectant Wipes provide a fast and effective way to clean, disinfect and deodorize hard, non-porous surfaces when used as directed.
